Having your birthday on the last day of the year is a lot of fun. However, it is also the last day for individuals to have surgeries done after having met their deductibles for the year. Consequently, my husband whose job usually allows him to be home by early afternoon kept him hopping until evening and we had just enough time for dinner, cake and bedtime. Adam decorated the table just for me. Didn't he do a great job? The cake was made by me. It was chocolate cake with candy cane frosting... yum. Happy 28
